Dave Aftandilian Despite the creepy album art and track titles, I find this to be a very peaceful and relaxing release. It gives me a sense of movement and energy, but also a feeling of inner contemplation--as if the knight were lying in bed and meditating on his many journeys, reliving them in his mind during the darker hours.

barleybase First of all, the cover art by the legendary Brendan Elliott is an immediate draw. The Sick Knight is a harrowing and timely tale executed with excellent atmosphere. The listener enters a dark and grim universe with the weight of emotion part of the auditory experience. This is an awesome and poignant album. Favorite track: Black death spreads to the city.
